Lightweight
In 2001, the project was passed to four last grade students of the VHTI in Kortrijk (B): Ringo Coene, Jürgen Willocx, Wim Declerq and Steven Struyve. They have built the new car Energy 2.
With this car, a new team record was established during the Shell Eco Marathon in Finland. The Energy 2 ran 576 km (360 mi) with one liter of petrol.
