Data acquisition system in Energy 5
Yoni Waegeman will implement a new data acquisition system in the newEnergy 5. By doing so, the car captures and stores all signals while driving. This is monitored to the driver, who can adapt his driving strategy to the track conditions.
Energy 5 will have speed sensors on all three wheels and on the output shaft of the engine, engine temperature, and acceleration sensors. As a result, the track geometry can be derived. In a later stadium, the data acquisition will also capture all signals from the engine controller.
